We had a wonderful JCC Cinema 64 screening of Howl’s Moving Castle at Our Tampines Hub’s state-of-the-art Festive Arts Theatre on Tuesday, 27th March 2018! Close to 300 audiences, together with our Ambassador H.E. Kenji Shinoda and JCC Director Ms. Akiko Sugita, came and watch one of legendary Japanese animator Miyazaki Hayao's most beloved works produced by Studio Ghibli on the big screen.

Based on British author Diana Wynne Jones' novel and nominated for Best Animated Feature at the 2005 Academy Awards, the story tells about a young milliner named Sophie and a wizard named Howl, which their budding relationship does not sit well with the evil Witch of the Waste, who curses Sophie and turns her into a 90-year-old woman.
