 TRANSFER OF VISA FROM OLD TO NEW PASSPORT |
Application for transfer of valid multiple-entry TEMPORARY VISITOR visa to new passport can be made at the Consular section of the Embassy by filling out the Transfer Application Form. Only visa with MORE THAN ONE-YEAR validity remaining is allowed transfer. Processing time is 3 business days and the service is free-of-charge. For visa with less than one-year validity, the visa-holder is advised to enter Japan with both the old and new passports. |
