Normally, a visa can be issued on the 3rd working day if all the requirements are met. There are, however, some cases where referral to the government office in Japan is necessary. In such cases, it may take around 1 to 2 months for results. Therefore, we recommend you to plan your trip early. Urgent or express visa is not available. Passport submitted for visa processing will not be returned during the processing period. Collection of passport is strictly between 1:30pm to 4:00pm, Monday to Friday (except Embassy holidays). We DO NOT entertain any request for return of passport outside operating hours regardless of circumstances. |
