★ Singapore national holiday
**The date of Deepavali (5 November) is subject to change.
The Embassy of Japan’s holidays for 2010 are listed above.
The Embassy’s holidays are determined in accordance with the number of holidays allocated to the Japanese government agencies, excluding weekends (i.e. a total of 18 days in 2010). In consideration of the convenience for the visitors to our Embassy, we have, first of all, incorporated Singapore’s national holidays as the Embassy’s holidays. As the number of Singapore’s national holidays fall short of 18 days, we have also selected 29th – 31st December as the year-end holidays, as well as 11th January, 11th February, 22nd March, 11th October, 23rd November and 23rd December out of the Japanese national holidays, giving due consideration to the Embassy’s operations and the Japanese government’s practice.
We appreciate your understanding on this matter.
