Japan Creative Centre is proud to present our upcoming exhibition LIFE INNOVATION BY JAPAN'S ROBOT TECHNOLOGIES. This exhibition provides a glimpse of the future where robots are part and parcel of our lives. Recent developments in Japan’s Robot Technology, which aims to improve various aspects of life, will be showcased. Be amazed by the latest in cutting-edge robot technology rarely seen outside of Japan.

During this 2-week exhibition, top Japanese companies and robot research institutions and scientists will showcase their inventions:

ApriPoco™ (Toshiba) / AR Technology (Gyro Walk) / M3-Neony (Prof Minoru Asada, Osaka & JST) / MANOI (Kyosho) / Muscle Suits (Kobayashi Laboratory, Gyro Walk) / PaPeRo (NEC) / PARO (Dr Takanori Shibata and Intelligent System) / Robotic Bed (Panasonic)

Lecture & Demonstration

Award-winning scientist, Dr. Shibata Takanori from the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology, Japan,is the inventor of Paro, the seal-shaped robot. Paro has been used as an alternative form of animal therapy in hospitals and care facilities. Through intelligent interaction, it positively affects patient psychology by reducing patient stress levels and improving socialisation. Learn about how Paro is used to benefit people around the world.
