UNIQLO has opened its Mega Store in 313@Somerset!

On December 2, 2009 UNIQLO held a fashion show like this on the eve of opening of its Mega Store, its third store in Singapore, to which I was invited as a guest. The models wore the UNIQLO cloths which everybody can buy at the store.They were all tall and slim with very long legs and arms. One of Japanese guests said to himself, "It's hard to imagine that they are the same human beings as we are!" I totally agree.

UNIQLO aims to spread all over the world. In fact it already has hundreds of stores across the glove in NY, London, Paris, Shanghai, Hong Kong, etc.. Mr. Otoma (in the centre of the photo below next to Ms Down Yeoh), COO of First Retailing Group which runs UNIQLO stores, came from Tokyo for the event. He told me his ardent dream that someday UNIQLO would be No. 1 world brand. By the way I am wondering if JCC can have some kind of fashion show in future.
