Welcome to the website of the Japan Creative Centre (JCC). It is my pleasure to announce the launching of the JCC website with my colleague and friend, H.E. Mr George Yeo, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Singapore.

Based on the theme of “innovation and tradition”, the JCC provides an exciting platform to showcase various aspects of “Cool Japan” from traditional arts to pop-culture, including design, fashion, technology, gourmet, music, movie, anime and manga. This website also features the latest information on these topics, which is accessible to anyone visiting this site.

While the official opening of the JCC is aimed by the end of 2009, some exciting events will be organized as the prelude by the JCC in Singapore as early as late 2008. The JCC reaches out not only to Singaporeans but also to the people in the whole Southeast Asian region. The JCC’s activities are to be inspired by the private sector. Therefore, the JCC wishes to invite ideas and initiatives from the private sector. Your comments and ideas for this website and the JCC would always be highly appreciated.
